Abstract

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) are one of the most important sources of environmental pollution worldwide. Their presence in water show a potential danger not only to the environment but also the health. In this work, a bacterial degradation study of phenantrene and pyrene in wastewater in the Victor Levi Sasso campus of Universidad Tecnologica de Panama has been carried out.
