As part of AIA Puerto Rico’s vision of recognizing the contribution of Architecture in the development of the built environment of our island, AIAPR is organizing an exhibit that will recognize the IMPACT of WOMEN ARCHITECTS in Puerto Rico since 1966, the year our chapter was founded. The exhibit will be presented for three weeks in Plaza Las Américas during Women's Month beginning on March 7, 2022. This deserved and necessary effort will give public visibility to more than 60 women who have contributed to the Architecture profession and to the development of Puerto Rico in different realms including design, leadership, professional practice, education, research, public service and volunteer work. In turn, this showcase will give emerging female architects the opportunity to advance their careers, seek mentorship, and connect with the industry.
