Abstract

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo evaluar del comportamiento térmico y energético de dos viviendas ubicadas en la ciudad de Ushuaia, Patagonia, Argentina, construidas con una envolvente térmica ineficiente. Para dicha evaluación se ha encuestado a los hogares en aspectos técnicos y de percepción del confort. Por otro lado, se ha cuantificado el consumo energético y se han evaluado los valores monetarios en cuanto a la inversión que representa para los hogares. El consumo de gas se calcula entre 640 y 715 kWh/ m2 por año para calefaccionar las viviendas, hacer uso del agua caliente sanitaria y cocinar. Dicho consumo se encuentra subsidiado por el estado en un 99,5%, aun así, las viviendas no alcanzan el confort térmico a lo largo del año; por tanto, requieren de estrategias para la gestión de la energía que expone a los hogares a una falta de confort térmico y una gran vulnerabilidad.
