Abstract
The origin of the blue pectolite has hardly been studied. Now this BGM special issue is devoted to this unusual stone. Thus the reader is referred to the two accompanying papers. As we were unable to recognize the crystallization sequences and relationships with their environment of the coloured pectolite (Larimar) in the Dominican Republic, we decided to scan the polished surface without any intermediaries, and then expand the image to enhance the desired effect. Thus the defining traits have been achieved in the history of its complex formation, such as deposition sequences based on their colour, display input channels, the organizational structure that it sometimes supports, features of movements and deformations and, above all, fitness with the model previously deduced.
