Abstract
We consider a predator-prey model in which the prey reproduces according to a logistic law, and the predator has a finite intake capacity. For constant coefficients and some range of parameters there is a Hopf bifurcation. We consider the case when the carrying capacity fluctuates periodically in time. We show that there exists a periodic solution of the same frequency as the carrying capacity. We also analyze the interaction of this solution with the Hopf oscillation. We can see that there is a gain of stability in the Hopf process.
