Abstract

The purpose of the present work is the study of the application of recycled aggregates in the production of masonry mortar and concrete. Recycled aggregates are obtained by processing of construction and demolition waste from building and civil constructions. A complete characterization of the recycled aggregates has been made, previously to two experiences of fabrication of masonry mortar and concrete with them. Both products have been also characterized. As final conclusion, selected and well characterized recycled aggregates are suitable to be used in the production of masonry mortar and concrete.
