Doctor on Mechanical Engineering at Sevilla University in 1986. 2 years as a Post Doc at the Institute for Fusion Theory at Hiroshima University in Japan. 2 years as a Research Scientist at the European Space Agency ESA-ESTEC in the Netherlands. 11 years as a Project Manager at the Aerospace Division of SENER. Head of the Engineering Office of Gamesa Eólica in Madrid in 2003. Joined UPM in 2004. Full Professor of Aerospace Engineering since 2011. Main research interests: droplet dynamics, flow mixing and heat transfer, and energy harvesting from hydroelastic instabilities.
