Brief description ot the activity
FERNANDO ORTEGA received the B.S. degree in software engineering, the M.S. degree in artificial intelligence, and the Ph.D. degree in computer sciences from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. From 2008 to 2015, he was a Research Assistant with the Intelligent Systems for Social Learning and Virtual Environments (ISYSVE) Research Group. From 2015 to 2017, he founded a BigTrueData to develop Machine Learning Projects. From 2017 to 2018, he was an Assistant Professor at U-tad: Centro Universitario de Tecnología y Arte Digital. Since 2018, he has been an Assistant Professor at UPM. He currently leads the Knowledge Discovery and Information Sciences (KNODIS) Research Group. He authored more than 40 scientific articles in most prestigious international journals. His research interests include machine learning, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
