The denial of human freedom is based on disassociating work from desire. In the case of women, domestic labour, as essential as invisible, consists into the care of the space in which they are enclosed and that of its inhabitants. The subversion happens when work becomes visible and is linked to personal desire. It is then that each woman constructs herself in her selfcare, through liberating actions that help them to break out of their confinement, breaking their physical and mental limits. María Ángeles Fernández Cuesta, ´la pinturitas´ and Yayoi Kusama are two women who, through a continuous pictorial action, appropriate the space through the movement of their bodies; they leave their mark and take the world as a canvas to share their concerns and obsessions, creating a radical imaginary that goes beyond the images established by heteropatriarchal humanism in order to incorporate more than human narratives.
