Expert in transportation systems, railways technologies and energy systems, with more than 30 years of expertise in these fields, combining strong R&D developments with management of Educational and Research institutions. Participation and management in more than 50 R&D national end international projects with public competitive funding and more than 100 relevant R&D projects with private companies. Author of 12 books, 80 papers in international journals, 140 papers in proceedings conferences and 4 patents. Director of 8 PhD theses.
