Descripción Breve de Actividad Realizada
I received the B.S. degree (with Hons.) in telecommunication engineering and the M.S. degree in signal theory and communications from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Since then, I have been with the Department of Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where I recently defended my Ph.D. thesis (2023) and where I am currently teaching as an assistant professor (2022- to date). In 2018, I had a secondment in Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, Germany, where I collaborated with the Terahertz Photonics Group.
My research activities are in the areas of on-chip terahertz electronics, millimeter-wave antennas and systems, and their application in radar and imaging. I am experienced in the design of active MMIC devices based on CMOS and GaN technologies, as well as on the design of planar and waveguide antennas. Additionally, I am skilled in using specialized equipment for the electrical and optical characterization of millimeter-wave and terahertz devices and systems.
