-Aerospace Engineer (2007 ) and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering (Cum Laude and \"Premio extraordinario de doctorado\", 2010) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. After the completion of the Ph.D. worked in different institutions worldwide, including California Institute of Technology, Universidade de Sao Paulo, École Polytechnique, and Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
- In the period 2011-2014 he was awarded a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship.
- In the period 2016-2019 he was (tenured) Professor at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil, being awarded the \"Scholarship for Productivity in Research\" by then brazilian national agency CNPq, and the \"Young Researcher of Rio de Janeiro State\" by the state agency FAPERJ.
- From May 2019 he is a faculty in the Department of Applied Mathematics to Aerospace Engineering at E.T.S.I. Aeronáutica y del Espacio, Universidad Politénica de Madrid, first as Assistant Professor (Prof. Ayudante Doctor, May 2019- August 2020), Associate Professor (Profesor Contratado Doctor I3, within Community of Madrid program of Excellence in Academics), and Professor (Titular de Universidad, since July 2022).

The researcher main lines of research include numerical methods for computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamics and aeroacoustics. His work combines theoretical/numerical stability analysis of complex flows, numerical modeling, and data analysis and data-based modeling. His contributions span a broad range of applications, including separated flows in aerodynamic applications, jet noise, slat aeroacoustics and pattern transition in multiphase flows. The researcher also collaborates with a multi-displicinary team in biological research, which has conducted to publications on top journals (Nature Protocols and Proc. National Academy of Sciences).
The researcher has developed a broad and international network, including researchers from top institutions in Europe, United States, Brazil and Australia. Has taken part in 17 research projects, 6 of them as Principal Investigator. Also, he has  advised 7 undergraduate Final Year projects, 3 M.Sc. student and co-advised 3 Ph.D. theses.  The candidate obtained the \"Acreditación\" by ANECA in 2013 as \"Prof. Ayudante Doctor\", \"Prof. Contratado Doctor\" and \"Prof. de Universidad Privada\" , and \"Profesor Titular\" in 2020.
